Car vandalism
Parked cars on streets and in car parks are keyed, kicked and have windows smashed, often with no witness; a timely alert and image give owners and police something to act on.

No alert — parked cars, quiet street.
Nothing wakes. Only the nanopower domain and the PIR are drawing.
How the camera spots it
Animals on or around vehicles are cleared locally. A person close to a car is escalated, and Gen AI separates someone walking past from a figure crouched at a door scratching the paintwork, alerting on damage.
How you would set it up
- Wake
- PIR wakes the camera; radar confirms a person- or vehicle-sized target before any capture
- Schedule
- No timed captures. Heartbeat every 12 hours. IR at night.
- On the camera
- Radar drops cats and birds. Edge AI drops frames where nobody is within arm's reach of a car.
- Your criterion
Is anyone damaging a parked car, for example scratching, kicking or breaking a window? Someone walking past is fine.
